Machining Capabilities

Our machining facility, Watkins Pattern Company, is an affiliate of Hitchcock Industries, Inc. Watkins features ten machining centers with bed sizes ranging from 31 inches to 150 inches to serve your various needs.

At Watkins Pattern Company, we:

Build all of Our Own Machining Fixtures

Are Capable of Doing Assembly Work (i.e. installing bushings, threaded studs, heli-coils, nut plates, inserts, etc.)

Integrate Design of Casting and Foundry Processes with the Finish Machining Process and Assembly

Have One Set of Datums to Control all Geometry

Generate Electronic Inspection Reports

Perform Faro Arm (CMM) Inspection

Numerically-Control Machining of External Aerodynamic Surfaces and Other Functional Features

Have Experience in Machining Airfoils and Complex Contoured Surfaces
